Terms of Service — Tradvance

Short version: Use Tradvance legally and honestly. Your data belongs to you. We provide the service as-is. Don't abuse the platform.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Tradvance ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of service

Tradvance is a trading journal application that allows traders to log, analyse, and review their trading activity. The Service includes trade logging, performance analytics, edge analysis, missed trade tracking, accounting, and AI-powered features.

We offer a free tier and a Pro plan with additional features. Feature availability may change over time.

3. Account registration

You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You must not share your account with others or allow others to access your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Scrape or crawl the Service in ways that place unreasonable load on our servers
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
Use the Service to store or transmit material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the source code of the Service

5. Your content and data

Ownership: All trade data, screenshots, notes, and other content you upload to Tradvance ("Your Content") belongs to you. We claim no ownership over Your Content.

Licence: By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Responsibility: You are responsible for Your Content and ensuring you have the rights to any screenshots or images you upload.

Backup: You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee against data loss.

6. AI features

The AI-powered features (screenshot extraction, AI edge analysis) are provided as-is. AI outputs are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial, investment, or trading advice. Results may be inaccurate. You should always verify AI-extracted trade details before saving.

7. Financial disclaimer

Tradvance is a journaling and analytics tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing in the Service — including AI analysis, performance metrics, Kelly criterion calculations, or any other feature — constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals. Past performance displayed in your journal does not guarantee future results. Always make trading decisions based on your own research and risk tolerance.

8. Subscription and payment

Some features require a Pro subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing details are provided at the time of purchase. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tradvance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to losses from trading decisions made based on information in the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and then through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction where we are based.
